Your mercy found me,
Upon the broken road,
And lifted me beyond my failing,
Into Your glory,
My sin and shame dissolved,
And now forever Yours I’ll stand

In love never to end,
To call You more than Lord,
Glorious friend.

So I throw my life upon all that You are,
‘Cause I know you gave it all for me.
And when all else fades,
My soul will dance with You,
Where the love lasts forever.

Lord, where the love lasts forever.
I will be with You, where the love lasts forever.
I will sing to you, where the love lasts forever.
I will dance with you, where the love lasts forever.

“Elisabeth nodded. Caspar had even more to tell her. There are two ways of becoming wise. One way is to travel out into the world and to see as much as possible of God’s creation. The other is to put down roots in one spot and to study everything that happens there in as much detail as you can. The trouble is that it’s impossible to do both at the same time.’”

“3.9) No. Life is a mystery that cannot be solved but must be lived. Theology can teach a lot about God. The physical and psychological sciences can teach a lot about people. Ultimately, however, studies cannot provide all the answers. One must rely on faith for unexplainable truth.”

“Caspar went on, ‘In the opinion of the Kings of the Orient, God spoiled humans a bit, because He created far too much at the same time. He created so many strange things to look at that many people don’t see God. But that’s how he managed to hide Himself too. He wouldn’t have been able to do that if only four people, three trees, two sheep and with camels existed in the whole of creation. If only one fish could be found in the sea, people would probably have noticed how perfect it was. And then they might have stated asking who had made it.”

“Let us consider where we posses our home, and then think how we may come thinner, and let us then also attempt to win there, to the eternal bliss, where life springs from God’s love, joy in heaven. Thanks be for ever to the Holy One because He, the Prince of glory, the Lord everlasting, has honored us. Amen.” The Seafarer

Caspar: If there had been only one star in the sky, that star would have aroused as much wonder as all the other stars together. After all, nobody goes round complaining because there’s only one moon. On the contrary: if there has been a hundred moons they would only have got in each other’s way. So the creation of billions of stars in the sky was an excessive exaggeration. Whenever there’s too much of anything, you can stare at it without appreciating it. That’s how it’s possible to be out under a starry sky and fail to see a single star because of a shower of shooting stars.

It’s quite true, thought Elisabeth. She had often looked at a sky full of stars without finding any particular one.

“Two Wise Men were pointing at objects around them, and saying wise words about the beautiful country they were sailing through. After a long discussion about the blessings of oranges and dates, they agreed that God could not have created a better world-at least, not in six days. ” The Christmas Mystery

“The true meaning of Chritsmas? God’s grace. And the understanding that we cannot earn any more than we can bargain for love. By its very nature, grace must be unearned and freely given, without cost, constraint, or commandment. The best we can do is to open our hearts to receive it wholly, with our strength, desire, and intent, that we might become children of the Gift. Anyway, that’s why I think Christmas is about. But what do I know, I’m just a carpenter.” Kier; The Christmas List

The Sound of Africa Worshipping God

“A yeh, ya ya weh! A yeh, ya ya weh!”

I will dwell in the shelter of the Most High,

And I will abide in the shadow of His wings,

I will not fear any arrow, any terror,

Because you have loved me and you know me by name.

My refuge,

My fortress,

My God in whom I trust.

Ya-a-aaah-weh,

Yahweh.

The Logic of your brain…

notesofapastor:

And the Faith in your heart will never agree.

They are opposites.

If you constantly wrestle with the Scripture attempting to understand it through human logic, you will be the most tormented and confused person on earth.

If you just believe it, God will put the pieces together for you step by step.

It’s just Supernatural!

“Personality traits are neither good, nor bad in themselves. Humanly speaking, we are the products of what we have inherited through our parents and experienced in our environment. Understand, our Creator has a purpose in making us what we are. He have you your strengths and gives you grace to overcome your weaknesses. He works through His word, glorifying Himself as he molds us into the image of His son.”
